This paper is 13 Critical Reasoning and 10 Reading Comprehension. The Reading Comprehension items are spread across 3 passages, so the reading cost is paid once per passage and repaid over the questions that follow it. That is an average of 1 minute 57 seconds a question, though the formats do not cost the same and the average is not a target.

The difficulty split is 8 easy, 7 medium and 8 hard — near-equal thirds, matching the way the Official Guide divides its own practice set. That matters more than it sounds: a paper weighted towards easy items flatters you and one weighted towards hard items demoralises you, and neither produces a number you can compare with anything.

The concepts this paper leans on most are Argument Evaluation (5), Inference (5), Argument Construction (3) and Supporting Idea (3). The mix follows the measured distribution of the 797 question Official Guide corpus rather than an even sweep of a syllabus, which is why some concepts appear repeatedly and others once or not at all.

Sitting it properly

Give it the full 45 minutes in one block, on one screen, with no phone and no second tab — a single lookup invalidates the result. Use two clock checkpoints rather than watching the timer: question 12 should arrive with roughly 22 minutes gone, and question 18 with roughly 11 minutes left. If you fall behind, abandon a question cleanly rather than speeding up everywhere — candidates rarely lose marks on the question they gave up on, they lose them on the ones at the end they never reached.

The report opens as soon as you finish: a section score on the 60 to 90 scale, then every question you saw with the answer you gave, the marked answer, the time you spent and a worked solution. There is no percentile — we have no calibration sample to compute one honestly. Review the questions you were unsure of, not only the ones you got wrong; a correct answer that took three and a half minutes was a near miss, not a win.
